Bismillah,
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu!
When entering a house, enter it with the right foot and say "Assalamu alaikum" to the inmates of the house. The prophet (May peace and blessings be upon him) used to be a cheerful mood when he was in the house and help in the household chores.
And when leaving the house, recite the dua, "Bismillahi tawakkaltu alalllah. laahaula wala quwwata illa billa" ("With the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, there is no might or power except Allah").
